I went to the Dollar Tree today – among other things, we were out of sandwich bags – and got the best guy ever on the checkout. Dark skin, faintly bestubbled, long hair held back in a ponytail, frilly fern-green shirt with an owl pin made out of some sort of vaguely opalescent rock, huge earrings of what might have been painted clay.

Se made me verreh happy.
