So, Demonology! It's this universe I want to write in. Specifically, it's a universe I want to experiment with free fiction in. If you want to leave me prompts for the themes below, or questions which can be answered in prompts for the themes below, you go right ahead! The idea here is to get me writing.
I'll link the prompts below to their completed stories as I finish them, and add a (...) to ones whose fills I'm working on.

Date: 2013-08-03 04:48 am (UTC)From:#006, Murder: Are there circumstances under which killing a demon is considered murder? (Or: do the DPS agents think of killing demons as murder?)
#010, Secret: How much of what they do can the DSP agents share with their families?
#036, Hell: Characters of different religious backgrounds at the DSP argue over whether the demons come from actual, literal Hell or not. (Or, what's the official stance on that?)

Date: 2013-08-03 04:55 am (UTC)From:(Part of the reason that there's so little information is because I'm still in the process of figuring out everything, myself; like, I had an interesting moment last night when I realized that I couldn't figure out what Saul's specialization actually was (though I needed him to be highly-specialized) because I didn't know enough about how demons interacted with humans and what the bounds of their powers and abilities were. So, really, these prompts are going to be a useful way to clarify the boundaries of the world so I can do larger, more coherent pieces.)

Date: 2013-08-06 11:30 pm (UTC)From:#045 - Plead - when has a DPS agent had to resort to pleading to get through a situation in a case?
#019 - Sinful - does religion play a role for any of the DPS agents in their job? (Ties into the Hell prompt maybe??? idekkkkk)
#017 - Long Hours - who works the hardest at DPS, and is it at a desk or elsewhere?
#041 - Mute - when was a time a DPS agent kept their mouth shut about something they saw/heard on a case, and do they regret it?
#047 - Defenseless - can a demon be considered "defenseless" and will an agent still take them out regardless, if they encounter them?
#092 - Haunted - which case haunts the DPS agents the most?
I HOPE SOME OF THOSE WERE HELPFUL. I LOVE YOU????

Date: 2013-08-06 11:42 pm (UTC)From:And where is the worst place to be caught with a demon, especially if you're supposed to be their enemy but it is quite clear your relationship is a bit more complicated?
Black out: that awkward time you're doing something illegal with a demon, bad things happen and you're knocked unconscious and then wake up to find your wife having a conversation with a demon that she may or may not already know about. (this prompt can be changed however you want to maximize angst/panic/awkwardness)
Is it possible to corrupt a demon?
Do demons honor anything besides the truth?
Shoot really makes me want to read a scene in which Saul shoots a human for Jeshuda. >_>
This, uh, isn't really based on one of those prompts and I think I might've asked you already, but maybe you can do something with it: is there such a thing as a half demon?
Okay and now I have to get back to my field research. :/ maybe more questions later

Date: 2013-08-07 06:11 pm (UTC)From:#055 Rescue: Is there any hope of redemption for a civilian who has made a deal with a demon?
#055 Rescue II: Has there ever been a time where a DPS agent has helped a demon (and not because they made a deal)?
#067 Black out: When is the exact moment a person's evinstone goes black?
Are there any demons who have made a deal with the government (har har) to not make deals with anybody else? Who want to pass as human so they can just live? Are there any demons who don't make deals, I guess is my question.
Also #089: Are there any demons who have lost their hunger for meaning?
#051 Memorable: Saul's most memorable case.
#090 Passage: Has a demon ever managed to successfully pass as human before? With Saul?
#065 Mistake: Sometimes it's worse to make a deal with a human.
#031 Swear: What are the rules of making a deal with a demon?
#074 Corrupt: (Prior to Jeshuda) has Saul ever consciously let a demon go?
#001 Finger: Has a human ever tried to frame a demon for a crime? Vice versa?
#072 Nonsense: Are there any myths/propaganda against demons that DPS agents know just aren't true?

What do you mean, could? That should clearly be "will." 8|
#076 Right: Do demons have any rights?
